Offer your clients their own AI-powered app builder, fully branded with your company name, logo, and colors, and earn revenue every time they use it.
That is exactly what Famous.ai's White Label feature makes possible. Here is everything you need to know about what white labeling is, why it is a powerful opportunity, and how to set it up step by step.
What Is White Labeling?
White labeling means taking an existing product or platform and rebranding it as your own. The technology is built and maintained by the original provider, in this case, Famous.ai, but your customers see your name, your logo, and your brand throughout the entire experience. They may never know Famous.ai is powering it behind the scenes.
It is the same model used across many industries. Think of store-brand products at a supermarket, or the way many software agencies resell tools under their own brand. White labeling lets you skip the years of development and go straight to selling.
Why Would You White Label Famous.ai?
Famous.ai's White Label program is built for agencies, entrepreneurs, and developers who want to:
Launch their own SaaS product without building the technology from scratch.
Offer clients an AI app builder as part of a productized service or retainer.
Create a new revenue stream by reselling access to a powerful platform at their own pricing.
Strengthen client relationships by keeping everything under one branded roof.
Instead of referring clients to Famous.ai directly, you become the platform. You set the pricing, you own the customer relationship, and you earn a percentage of every subscription your users pay. It is one of the fastest ways to launch a software business without writing a single line of code.
Step 1: Access the White Label Tab
Start by heading to your Famous.ai Dashboard. Click on your profile menu in the top-right corner of the Famous.ai homepage to open the Dashboard.
From the navigation tabs along the top, click on White Label.
Step 2: Create Your White Label and Subscribe
Inside the White Label tab, click to create a new white label. Famous.ai will prompt you to subscribe to a White Label plan before proceeding.
Complete the subscription to unlock access to the full White Label settings panel.
Step 3: Set Up Your Custom Domain
The first setting to configure is your White Label Domain. This is the web address where your branded platform will live (for example, builder.youragency.com or app.yourbrand.com).
Enter your chosen domain into the field provided.
Famous.ai will then display the DNS records you need to add through your domain registrar. Follow those instructions to point your domain to Famous.ai's servers.
Once the DNS records are verified, your white-label platform will be live at your custom address.
Step 4: Add Your Branding
Next, personalize the look and feel of your platform. Famous.ai gives you full control over:
Company Name: The name that will appear throughout the platform and in your users' experience.
Logo: Upload your brand logo to replace the Famous.ai branding.
Color Scheme: Set your primary, secondary, and tertiary brand colors so the platform feels cohesive and consistent with the rest of your visual identity.
This is where your white label starts to feel like a product that is truly yours. Take the time to get the branding right, as it is what your clients will see every time they log in.
Step 5: Customize Your Homepage
Scroll down and you will find the option to enable and customize your homepage. This is the landing page your users will see when they first visit your platform.
You can customize:
Home Page Title: The headline that greets your visitors.
Home Page Description: A short line of copy that explains what your platform does.
Default Prompts: The example prompts displayed on the homepage to inspire and guide your users when they first arrive.
Treat this like a mini landing page for your product. A strong headline, a clear description, and well-chosen default prompts will make a great first impression and help new users get started quickly.
Step 6: Set Your Pricing
This is one of the most important steps. Famous.ai's White Label program allows you to set your own pricing on top of the core platform cost, and you keep the difference as your margin.
The minimum markup starts at 40% above the base price, with options that increase from there (1.25x, 1.5x, and beyond). The higher your markup, the more revenue you earn per user per month.
Take time to think about your pricing strategy. Consider your target audience, what comparable tools charge, and what margin makes the business worthwhile for you. You are building a SaaS product here, so price it accordingly.
Step 7: Add a Test User
Before you push your platform live, Famous.ai gives you access to a User Management dashboard where you can manage the accounts on your platform. Before launching to real clients, add a test user first.
This lets you experience the platform exactly as your users will, from sign-up through to building their first project. Walk through the full experience as that test user. Check that the branding looks correct, the homepage is set up properly, and the prompts are working as expected. Catching any issues at this stage is far easier than fixing them after your first real clients have signed up.
Step 8: Connect Your Payout Settings
The final step is setting up how you get paid. Famous.ai currently supports three payout methods for White Label earnings:
PayPal
Venmo
Zelle
Simply connect your preferred account in the Payout Settings section and you are all set. As your users subscribe and pay for access to your platform, your earnings will be sent directly to your connected account.
You Are Now a SaaS Founder
Setting up your Famous.ai White Label is a one-time process that opens the door to an entirely new business model. Once your domain is live, your branding is in place, and your pricing is set, you have a fully operational AI app builder running under your brand, ready to onboard clients, generate recurring revenue, and grow on autopilot.
The technology is Famous.ai's. The business is yours.
