How Our Tiered Hosting Pricing Works
We designed our pricing to reward your growth. Hours are tracked across all your live projects combined.
Your first 40 hours of usage every month are completely free.
After that, your first three live projects (covering 41 to 2,232 hours) are charged at a standard rate of $0.2648 per hour, which equates to approximately $197 per month per project.
As you add more projects, you save more. Your next three projects (2,233 to 4,464 hours) cost just $0.0632 per hour, dropping the monthly cost to about $47 per project.
Any additional projects running beyond 4,465 hours cost only $0.0067 per hour, bringing your cost to just ~$5 per month for each project beyond your sixth.
(Note: If you are not ready to launch yet, you can use Sleep Mode to pause your project. Sleeping projects do not incur any hosting charges.)

Famous.ai simply breaks your costs down into three buckets:
Your Subscription: This is your base monthly plan (like the $0 Free, $7 Mini, or $47 Spark plan). It gives you the tools to build your app or website and a monthly allowance of "build credits" to pay the AI while you are creating.
Hosting: This is the cost of keeping your app or website open to the public on the internet. We give you 40 hours of "open" time for free every single month. If your app or website stays awake longer than that, you pay a small hourly fee.
Money-Saving Tip: If you are still building and aren't ready for customers yet, just hit Sleep Mode in your project settings to pause it! The app or website goes to sleep, and you immediately stop getting charged for hosting.
AI Actions: When a user is actually inside your live app or website and asks it to do something—like generate a picture, write a paragraph, or send an email—it costs a tiny fraction of a penny. You only pay for exactly what your users generate.
The Short Answer: If your bill is higher than your base monthly subscription, it just means your project has been awake for more than your 40 free hours this month, or your users are actively using the AI features inside your live app or website!
How to Track Your Build Usage
Every time you prompt the AI to build or edit, it uses build credits. To see exactly what a prompt costs, click the text showing the time it took to generate below the "Preview" button in your chat. A dropdown will reveal your exact Build Usage cost!
