Website Hosting
Live sites are metered by the hour across all your projects combined. Your first 41 hours each billing period are free, and each additional block of usage is cheaper than the last. A site running 24/7 uses about 744 hours per month. Sleeping sites are never billed. Higher subscription plans include a discount on all hosting fees — see the pricing page for each plan's rate.

Storage
All files in your account's media library (across every project, live or not) are metered over time (megabytes stored, per hour) and priced at a monthly-equivalent rate. Your first 10 MB-months each billing period are free — for example, 10 MB stored for a full month, or 20 MB for half a month. Deleting files stops their metering immediately.

Sleep Mode — Pay Only When Live
Not ready to launch? Pause any site in its settings to put it to sleep. Sleeping sites don't accrue hosting hours — you only pay for hosting time while your site is actually live and serving visitors. Media library storage is metered separately and continues while files are stored.
How billing works
Hosting usage accumulates on your account and is charged to your card on file in increments, starting at $30. You can see your current usage and charges anytime in the Billing tab of your dashboard.
