Your domain name is your digital address. The Deal.ai Domain App makes it easy to bring your own branding to every project you create. Whether you already own a domain or need to buy a brand new one, you can manage everything directly from a single Deal.ai dashboard.

Here is a complete guide to adding and managing your custom URLs.

1. Adding or Buying a Domain in Deal.ai

When you open the Deal.ai Domain App, you will see two primary options to get started:

  • Add a Domain: Use this option if you have already purchased a domain from an external provider (like Namecheap or GoDaddy) and want to link it to your Deal.ai account.

  • Buy a Domain: Choose this option to search for and purchase a new domain directly through Deal.ai. This allows you to easily manage your domain billing and DNS settings without ever leaving the platform.

2. Connecting External Domains to Deal.ai

If you choose to add a domain from an external provider, you need to point it to the Deal.ai servers.

  • Click the Instructions button next to your domain.

This will provide you with the specific DNS settings (such as the exact A records or CNAME records) that you need to copy and paste into your external registrar's portal to successfully link your domain to Deal.ai.

3. How to Update DNS Records at Popular Registrars

Once you have copied your required records from Deal.ai, you will need to paste them into your domain host. While every registrar is slightly different, the process is always just a matter of copying and pasting. Here is where to find the DNS settings for the most popular providers:

  • GoDaddy: Log into your GoDaddy Domain Portfolio. Click on your specific domain, navigate to the DNS tab, and click Add New Record (or edit an existing A/CNAME record) to paste your Deal.ai values. Save your changes.

  • Namecheap: Log into your Namecheap account and click Domain List. Click the Manage button next to your domain, and then click on the Advanced DNS tab at the top. Use the "Add New Record" button at the bottom of the records table to paste your Deal.ai info.

  • Cloudflare: Log into your Cloudflare dashboard and select your domain. Click the DNS icon in the left-hand sidebar menu, then click Records. Click the Add record button and paste your Deal.ai values. (Note: You may need to toggle the orange "Proxy status" cloud off to "DNS only" to ensure the connection works smoothly).

4. Managing Deal.ai Subdomains and Forwarding

Once your Deal.ai domain is active, you can expand your reach with these built-in management tools:

  • Subdomains: Click the Subdomains button to create specific prefixes (like blog.yourdomain.com or app.yourdomain.com). This is perfect for separating different parts of your Deal.ai business.

  • Forwarding Rules: Use the Edit button to set up domain forwarding. Forwarding rules automatically redirect visitors from one URL to another. For example, you can set yourdomain.com/sale to automatically send visitors to a specific Deal.ai landing page or even an external social media profile.

4. Using Your Domain Across Deal.ai Apps

Once connected, you can use your domains and subdomains with your Deal.ai funnels, websites, blogs, and white label sites.

For example, in the Deal.ai AEO Funnels App, you can select your custom domain directly from the funnel settings.

If you are using an external domain, the app will guide you through the necessary DNS steps.
