Connecting your Deal.ai funnels to external platforms (like Google Sheets, Mailchimp, or HighLevel) is incredibly easy using our official Zapier app. Instead of building webhooks from scratch, you can use our convenient pre-built templates to automate your workflows in minutes.

Here is a complete guide to setting up the Deal.ai Zapier app to automatically send your new funnel leads directly into a Google Sheet.

1. Accessing Zapier Templates in Deal.ai

To get started, you need to open the settings for the specific Deal.ai funnel you want to automate.

  • Navigate to your Deal.ai dashboard, click into Ultra-Fast Funnels, and open your desired funnel.

  • Ensure you have a contact form element on your page (such as an email input block) so you have data to collect!

  • Click on the Settings tab located in the top navigation menu.

  • Scroll down to the Zapier templates section and click the first template (the Deal.ai to Google Sheets template).

  • Click Use this Zap. This will automatically open Zapier.com in a new browser tab. Sign up or log into your Zapier account if prompted.

2. Linking Your Deal.ai Account with Your API Key

To authorize Zapier to pull data from your funnels, you will need your unique Deal.ai API key.

  • Keep Zapier open in its tab, and flip back to your main Deal.ai dashboard.

  • Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select Profile.

  • Scroll down, locate your private API key, and copy it to your clipboard.

  • Go back to your open Zapier tab. When Zapier asks you to choose your Deal.ai account, paste this API key into the authorization window to securely hook up the two platforms.

3. Setting Up the Deal.ai Trigger

Now you need to tell Zapier exactly which Deal.ai form submissions to listen for.

  • In the Zapier trigger step, you will be asked which funnels to monitor.

  • You can select a specific funnel, or choose to listen to All Funnels so that any contact form submission across your entire Deal.ai account is sent to Zapier.

  • Click Continue and then click Test Trigger.

  • Zapier will pull in sample data from your Deal.ai account to ensure the connection is working. Click Continue.

4. Setting Up the Google Sheets Action

Now that Zapier is successfully catching your Deal.ai leads, you need to tell it where to put them.

  • In the Zapier Action step, select the Google Sheets app.

  • For the Event, select Create Spreadsheet Row and hit Continue.

  • Choose your connected Google Account.

  • Select your Google Drive, the specific Spreadsheet you want to use (e.g., "Leads"), and the Worksheet tab (e.g., "Sheet1").

5. Adding Headers & Testing Your Deal.ai Automation

Before Zapier can insert the Deal.ai data into your spreadsheet, it needs to know what the columns are called.

  • Open your selected Google Sheet in a new tab and type headers into the very first row (for example: First Name, Last Name, and Email).

  • Go back to Zapier and click the Refresh Fields button. Zapier will instantly detect the new columns you just made!

  • Click into the First Name field in Zapier and map it to the "First Name" data pulled from Deal.ai. Repeat this for the Last Name and Email fields.

  • Click Continue, and then click Test Step. Check your Google Sheet to verify the sample data was successfully inserted into a new row!

  • Finally, click Publish to turn your Zap on. You can also rename your Zap (e.g., "Deal.ai to Google Sheets") to keep your workspace organized.

That is it! You can now go to your live Deal.ai funnel, submit a test form, and watch the data instantly appear in your Google Sheet.
