Integrate your funnel with thousands of other apps with the power of webhooks! When you add a webhook to your funnel, every time a visitor fills out a form on your page, a webhook will be sent to the URL you specify in your funnel settings.
You can easily connect your Deal.ai Ultra-Fast Funnels to thousands of external apps using Zapier. In this example, we will build a funnel in Deal.ai, capture a visitor's email, and use a Zapier webhook to automatically send an email notification.
Here is the complete step-by-step guide.
1. Creating Your Deal.ai Funnel (Manual or AI)
To capture a visitor's email, you first need to build a funnel inside Deal.ai. You have two ways to do this:
Option A: Create Funnel Using AI β¨: Click this button, enter your business details, select your Call to Action, and choose a template. Deal.ai will automatically build a complete, high-converting funnel with a built-in form for you in minutes.
Option B: Create Funnel Manually: Click this button, name your funnel, add a new step, and select the Blank Template. Then, click Edit Page to open the Deal.ai visual editor, go to the Elements tab, and manually drag an Email form onto your page.
2. Verifying Your Deal.ai Form
Before moving on to Zapier, you need to ensure your form is ready to capture data.
Click into your funnel and click the blue Edit Page button to open the Deal.ai visual editor.
Ensure there is an email input form on the page (whether the AI generated it, or you dragged it in manually).
Click Save Changes, then click the Back button to return to your main Deal.ai funnel dashboard.
2. Verifying Your Deal.ai Form (Optional)
Once the AI finishes building your site, you can double-check the form before connecting it to Zapier.
Click into your newly generated funnel and click the blue Edit Page button to open the Deal.ai visual editor.
Ensure there is an email input form on the page. (If you want to add a different one, simply go to the Elements tab on the upper-right, scroll down to the Forms area, and drag an Email form onto the page).
Click Save Changes, then click the Back button to return to your main Deal.ai funnel dashboard.
3. Adding the Webhook to Your Deal.ai Funnel
Now you must paste your Zapier URL into your Deal.ai settings so the two platforms can communicate.
Go back to the browser tab with your Deal.ai funnel.
Click the Settings tab in the upper-right corner to open your Deal.ai Funnel settings.
Locate the section labeled Webhooks / Zapier.
Paste your copied Zapier Webhook URL into this box and click Save. Deal.ai is now connected to Zapier!
(Recommended: Before testing, click "+ New Funnel Step" in Deal.ai to quickly create a blank "Thank You" page so your visitors have somewhere to go after submitting the form!)
4. Testing Your Deal.ai Form
Before Zapier can send an automated email, it needs to catch test data from Deal.ai.
On your Deal.ai funnel page, click the icon to the right of the preview link on your first step to open your live website in a new tab.
Fill out the email form yourself with test information and click Submit.
Flip back to your Zapier tab and click Test Trigger. Zapier should successfully display the information you just submitted through your Deal.ai form!
5. Setting Up the Automated Email in Zapier
Now that Zapier has caught your Deal.ai form submission, you can set up the automatic email response.
In Zapier, click to add an Action step to your Zap.
Search for the Email by Zapier app.
For the Event, choose Send outbound email and click Continue.
In the Action tab, fill out the 'To' field (you can use your own email to receive notifications).
Write a Subject line (e.g., "New Deal.ai Subscriber").
In the Body section, use the dropdown menu to insert the dynamic fields Zapier caught from Deal.ai (such as the submitter's Email, First Name, and Last Name).
Click Save, and then click Publish to turn your Zap on.
That's it! You will now receive an automated email every time a visitor fills out the form on your Deal.ai funnel.
