You don't need external design software to perfect your marketing visuals!
Whenever you generate a new image (or open a previously generated one), you will see a pencil icon. Clicking this icon opens the Deal.ai Image Editor, giving you access to a full suite of customization tools.
Here is a complete breakdown of what you can do.
1. Crop, Rotate, and Flip in Deal.ai
When you first open the Deal.ai editor, you will land on the Crop tool. This allows you to perfectly frame your image for any platform.
Standard Shapes: Quickly crop your Deal.ai image into a Square or Portrait frame and drag the image inside the frame to get the perfect composition.
Social Media Presets: Choose pre-set aspect ratios optimized for X (Twitter), Instagram Stories, or Facebook (including popular 4:5 and 2:3 post sizes).
Rotate & Scale: Use the slider bar to rotate your image for a dynamic tilt, or use the scale tool to zoom in on a specific detail.
Flip: Quickly mirror the image horizontally or vertically.
2. Resize for Page Speed Optimization
If you are building an ultra-fast funnel or website, massive image files can hurt your load times. The Deal.ai Resize tool fixes this perfectly.
Click the Resize tool to see the current pixel dimensions of your Deal.ai creation (e.g., 1920 x 1080).
Type in your desired width or height (e.g., changing the height to 500px). The Deal.ai tool will automatically adjust the other dimension to maintain the correct aspect ratio!
Pro Tip: Always crop your image to the correct shape first, and then use the Resize tool right before you download it.
3. Filters and Fine-Tuning Your Deal.ai Images
Bring your Deal.ai generated images to life using our built-in color correction tools.
Filters: Apply social-media-style filters to instantly change the tone, including black-and-white and sepia options.
Fine-Tune: Need more control over your Deal.ai visual? Adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Temperature, and Clarity (sharpness) manually. You can also add a black or white Vignette around the edges to draw the viewer's eye to the center.
4. Add Text, Shapes, and Stickers
You can turn a raw image into a ready-to-launch ad right inside Deal.ai by adding your own overlays.
Text & Shapes: Draw a customized shape (like a rectangle with rounded borders) to act as a background plate, and then use the Text tool to type your Magic Hook directly onto the image. You can customize the font size and color to match your brand.
Stickers: Click "Select Image" to upload your own logos or graphics (transparent PNG files work best!) and place them over your Deal.ai image. You can scale, rotate, and manage the layers to put them exactly where you need them.
5. Deal.ai Magic Tools (Retouch)
This is where the Deal.ai editor gets truly powerful. Click on the Retouch tool to access our AI editing features.
Deal.ai Magic Remove
Want to get rid of a distracting object in the background? Select the Magic Remove brush and paint over the item you don't want. Deal.ai will analyze the image and seamlessly erase the object, filling in the background as if it was never there.
Deal.ai Magic Replace
Want to change an object completely? Select the Magic Replace brush and paint over the item. A text box will appear asking what you want to see instead.
Type in your prompt (e.g., "A chocolate chip cookie").
Deal.ai will generate several new options that fit perfectly into that space. You can scroll through the variations, adjust the "Feathering" to blend the edges into the original image, or click generate again for more options!
6. Saving and Managing Your Deal.ai Edits
At any point during your Deal.ai editing process, you can use the Undo/Redo arrows at the top of the screen, or click the Reset button to wipe all edits and go back to the original image.
Save Your Work: When you are happy, click Done in the top right corner. Deal.ai will process the image, and your newly edited version will appear in your gallery! You can now download it or turn it into a video.
Re-Editing: If you click the pencil icon on an already edited image, your previous changes are "baked in" and become the new base image inside Deal.ai.
Revert to Original: If you want to start completely over from the very first unedited AI generation, click the "Reload Original" button at the top right of the editor. (Warning: Saving a new edit from the original file will overwrite your previous edits!)
