SuperCool now gives users more control over the AI models powering image and video generation across apps like Viral Shorts and Creator Studio.

Previously, SuperCool automatically selected the best models behind the scenes. Now, advanced users can manually choose which model they want to use depending on the type of content they are creating, the level of quality they need, and how many credits they want to spend.

This system is called an orchestration layer. Instead of relying on a single AI model, SuperCool intelligently combines multiple models and tools together depending on the task being performed.

For example, when creating a video, SuperCool may use:

  • one model for writing

  • another for images

  • another for animation

  • another for voice generation

  • another for rendering

all inside one workflow.

The new model controls allow you to directly choose which generation models you want SuperCool to use during this process.

What AI Models Actually Do

Different AI models are trained for different purposes. Some models are optimized for:

  • speed

  • lower credit usage

  • rough drafts

  • fast iteration

while others are optimized for:

  • cinematic realism

  • photorealistic outputs

  • higher-quality rendering

  • advanced detail

  • polished final outputs

This means not every model is meant for the same workflow.

For example, if you are brainstorming video ideas or testing scene layouts, you may want to use a faster and cheaper model first. Then once you finalize the concept, you can switch to a higher-end premium model for the final render.

SuperCool now allows you to make those decisions directly inside the apps.

How to Access the Different Models

To access the model controls:

  • Click your Profile Icon in the top-right corner

  • Click Studio from the dropdown menu

  • Open either:

    • Viral Shorts

    • Creator Studio

    • or another supported generation app

Inside these apps, you will now see model selectors, quality settings, and generation options directly inside the workflow.

Understanding Fast, Standard, and Premium Models

Inside apps like Advanced Movie Maker and Viral Shorts, you may see settings like:

  • Fast

  • Standard

  • Premium

  • Enterprise

These are different AI generation models with different quality levels and credit costs.

Fast models are designed for rapid iteration and lower credit usage. These are useful when:

  • testing ideas

  • experimenting with prompts

  • creating rough drafts

  • quickly generating concepts

Standard models balance quality and speed and are usually the best general-purpose option.

Premium models use significantly more credits but generate more polished cinematic outputs with stronger animation, realism, lighting, and visual consistency.

For example, a fast render may cost a small number of credits, while Premium generations may cost several times more because they use more advanced models behind the scenes.

How Models Work Inside Viral Shorts

Inside Viral Shorts, SuperCool automatically turns scripts into storyboarded short-form videos.

The workflow typically follows this process:

  1. Generate the script

  2. Create storyboard scenes

  3. Generate scene images

  4. Animate the scenes

  5. Add cuts and effects

  6. Add narration and music

  7. Render the final video

At the image generation stage, you can now choose which model powers the visuals. Different models create different visual styles, levels of realism, animation quality, and rendering speed.

Some models prioritize:

  • cinematic quality

  • photorealism

  • advanced motion

  • stronger consistency

while others prioritize:

  • faster rendering

  • lower credits

  • experimentation

This allows creators to test multiple styles before committing to a final render.

Understanding the Different Image Models

Inside Creator Studio and Viral Shorts, you may see models like:

  • Nano Banana Pro

  • GPT Image

  • Seedream 4

  • Groq Imagine

  • Veo

  • CDance

Each model has different strengths. For example, Nano Banana Pro is designed as a flagship-quality generation model that performs well across many workflows. Seedream focuses more heavily on photorealistic outputs and realistic imagery.

Some models are optimized specifically for:

  • cinematic storytelling

  • anime

  • product photography

  • noir aesthetics

  • fashion visuals

  • concept art

This gives advanced users significantly more control over the style and direction of their content.

How Creator Studio Uses Specialized Models

Creator Studio now includes specialized in-house generation modes trained for different creative tasks. For example, you may see model presets like:

  • Cinematic

  • Glam

  • Product Shot

  • Noir

  • Anime

  • Concept Art

These presets are designed to guide the visual style of the generation. For example:

  • Cinematic focuses on dramatic lighting and film-style visuals

  • Glam focuses more on fashion, beauty, and artistic styling

  • Product Shot focuses on e-commerce and clean commercial imagery

  • Noir creates darker cinematic black-and-white aesthetics

Instead of manually describing these styles every time, the models are already pre-trained toward those creative directions.

How Credits Relate to Models

Different models consume different amounts of credits. Generally:

  • higher-quality models use more credits

  • faster models use fewer credits

This allows you to decide how much quality you actually need for the project you are creating. For example, if you are testing ideas quickly, you may not want to spend premium credits on every generation. Many creators first use:

  • faster models for drafts

  • premium models for finals

to optimize both workflow speed and credit usage.

SuperCool also shows estimated credit usage directly inside the apps before generation begins.

When to Use Faster Models vs Premium Models

Faster models work best when:

  • brainstorming ideas

  • testing prompts

  • experimenting with scenes

  • building drafts

  • generating placeholders

Premium models work best when:

  • creating final videos

  • rendering polished client work

  • generating cinematic scenes

  • producing marketing campaigns

  • building higher-end visual content

Using the right model for the right stage of production helps balance both quality and efficiency.

Why SuperCool Added Model Controls

SuperCool originally handled all model selection automatically behind the scenes.

However, many advanced users wanted more control over:

  • quality

  • rendering style

  • generation speed

  • credit usage

  • visual direction

The new model controls give creators the ability to fine-tune their workflows while still keeping the default experience simple for beginners. If you do not want to manually choose models, you can still use the default settings, and SuperCool will automatically orchestrate the workflow for you.

Why Different AI Models Matter

The new AI model system inside SuperCool gives creators significantly more flexibility and creative control across Viral Shorts and Creator Studio.

Instead of relying on one universal generation system, you can now choose different models depending on your:

  • creative goals

  • workflow stage

  • budget

  • visual style

  • quality requirements

This makes SuperCool far more powerful for advanced creators while still remaining beginner-friendly for users who simply want the platform to handle everything automatically.
