The Viral Shorts app inside SuperCool is designed to help you create short-form vertical videos quickly using AI-powered workflows.

Instead of manually scripting videos, editing scenes together, adding narration, creating subtitles, and formatting content for TikTok or Reels individually, the Viral Shorts app handles much of the process automatically inside one workspace.

You can create cinematic stories, narrated videos, faceless content, educational clips, meme-style videos, and AI-generated social content directly inside SuperCool.

Step 1: Open the Apps Menu

Start by clicking your Profile Icon in the top-right corner of SuperCool.

From the dropdown menu, click Apps. This opens the main Apps dashboard where all SuperCool apps and workflows are located.

Inside the Apps page, you will see tools like Viral Shorts, Advanced Movie Maker, Agents, Shops, Boosts, and more.

To continue:

  • Click Viral Shorts

The Viral Shorts workspace opens automatically.

At the top of the page, you will see:

Pick a template, write a script, and turn it into a vertical video in minutes.

Step 2: Select a Template

Inside Viral Shorts, choose the template you want to use.

Each template is designed for a different content style. For example, Cinematic Story creates photoreal cinematic shorts with dramatic storytelling, while Narrated Tale focuses more heavily on voice-led narration and illustrated visuals.

Templates like Roblox Rage, Fruit People, Skeleton AI, and Kid Glow-Up are designed for more stylized or viral internet-style content.

If you want complete creative flexibility, click Custom to build your own style combination.

Once you find the style you want:

  • Click the template

The editor opens automatically.

Step 3: Write or Generate the Script

After selecting a template, the Script tab opens.

Inside the Narration Script section, you can either type your own script manually, paste an existing story, or generate one with AI.

To generate a script automatically:

  • Click Generate w/ AI

The AI creates the narration flow, scene pacing, dialogue, and visual storytelling structure automatically.

The script is separated into scenes to help organize the video generation process. You can edit any section manually before moving forward.

Once the script looks correct:

  • Click Next: Scenes

Step 4: Generate the Scenes

Inside the Scenes tab, SuperCool begins generating images for each scene automatically.

At the top of the page, you can choose the image generation model, resolution, and consistency settings before generation starts.

You can also use the Tweak Instructions section to guide the next generation pass.

For example:

Make the scenes darker and more cinematic.

or

Add stronger emotional expressions to the characters.

Each generated scene includes controls to:

  • Re-gen the image

  • Replace the image

  • Animate the scene

This allows you to refine individual scenes without restarting the full project.

As scenes generate, the platform automatically organizes them into a timeline structure for your final vertical short.

Step 5: Edit Cuts and Effects

After your scenes finish generating, open the Cuts tab.

This section allows you to combine scenes together, remove weaker scenes, or create alternate edits for pacing and retention testing.

Next, open the Effects tab.

Inside this section, you can customize transition styles, motion effects, overlays, and visual treatments.

You can apply effects like:

  • Fade

  • Dissolve

  • Dramatic

  • Zoom

  • Slide transitions

  • Push transitions

You can also enable additional overlays and glitch effects for more stylized edits.

Effects are applied during render time, so you can re-render different visual styles later without regenerating your scenes.

Step 6: Add Narration and Music

Open the Audio tab to configure narration voices, captions, and background music.

You can choose different AI narration voices depending on the tone you want for the video. Some voices are designed for cinematic storytelling while others are optimized for conversational or energetic delivery.

You can also enable background music directly inside the editor. The built-in music library includes pre-licensed tracks designed for short-form social content.

If you want more customization, you can also enter your own custom music prompt to generate a different style of soundtrack.

Once your narration, music, and audio settings are ready:

  • Click Render Final Video

SuperCool automatically assembles the scenes, narration, captions, transitions, effects, and music into one completed vertical video.

Final Takeaway

The Viral Shorts app inside SuperCool is designed to simplify cinematic short-form content creation using AI-powered workflows.

Instead of manually scripting, editing, animating, narrating, and formatting videos across multiple tools, you can create complete short-form content directly inside one workspace.

This makes it significantly easier to scale content creation across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical video platforms.

Pro Tip: Strong hooks and scene pacing are usually the biggest factors in short-form retention. Focus heavily on the first few seconds of your video.
