What's the Difference?
TeachClub supports two types of achievements:
Certificates
Certificates are ideal for recognizing major accomplishments, such as completing an entire course or certification program.
Use certificates when students have reached a significant learning milestone.
Badges
Badges are smaller achievements that encourage continued progress.
They're perfect for rewarding:
Completing a lesson
Finishing a module
Reaching learning milestones
Participating in activities
Completing special challenges
Using multiple badges throughout a course helps keep students motivated from start to finish.
Create a Certificate or Badge
To create a new achievement:
Go to Admin.
Select Learning.
Open the Certificates & Badges section.
Choose whether you want to create a Certificate or a Badge.
Give it a name and description.
Save your changes.
Your achievement is now ready to be awarded.
Choose When Students Earn It
TeachClub gives you several ways to award achievements. You can automatically issue them when a student:
Completes a lesson
Completes a module
Finishes the entire course
Or you can choose to award them manually whenever you decide a student has earned the recognition.
