Setting Up Your E-Commerce Store
Famous.ai is e-commerce enabled, allowing you to sell products directly through the platform.
1. Generating Your Store
Start by telling the system what you want to build, using a prompt like "create an e-commerce t-shirt store".
As the store is building out, you will be prompted immediately to connect your payment processor or your bank.
Once it is ready, a new "e-commerce" option will pop up at the top of your interface, which usually isn't there for standard builds.
2. Managing Your Database
To manage your store's data, go to your project settings and click into the general settings to find your connected database.
Click into the database to view all of your collections, such as your customers and e-commerce order items.
From here, you can input data, track everything you need, and import CSVs.
3. Configuring Payments and Taxes
Go back to your project settings and click on the "payments" tab, which is the third option down.
Look for any sections that say "incomplete" (such as business type, business details, public details, management and ownership, and payout details).
Hit edit to fill in the necessary information for each section; the system will automatically save your changes.
From this same payments screen, you can see incoming payments, payouts, balances, tax configuration, and access your tax forms and invoices.

If you run into any blocks, obstacles, or are unsure of how a feature works (like API authentication or file buckets), you can ask the platform anything for free.
Take a screenshot of the confusing element.
Drop the screenshot into the prompt box and ask the AI to "explain simply and give a step-by-step breakdown of how to use them".
The system will give you a step-by-step guide and walk you through absolutely everything, allowing you to become an expert very quickly.
